Kapiti Camera Club Gold Anniversary Exhibition

Photographs of life and events in Porirua's 50th year. 

held in the Bottle Creek Gallery at Pataka 17 December - 31 January 2016.

The exhibition may be over - but has been "moved" to the Helen Smith Room at Pataka where they will remain for public viewing for at least another twelve months.

The club ran two competitions during the exhibition - One of these was the opportunity for members of the public to vote for the photograph as a "People's Choice" award.  280 "valid" votes were received and the top contenders are shown below -

"How well do you know Porirua?" Competition

The prizes were - An A3 Canvas print - by Destina Munro - valued at $300 and sponsored by Wellington Photographic Supplies

The Book :A Portrait of Porirua" - The Creation of a planned city by Neil and June Penman - valued at $75

One Year's Membership to the Kapiti Camera Club - valued at $50.
